During the spring, summer and fall residency periods, Mobile Frames conducts cycling trips intended as field days for film location scouting and to encourage group exploration of the region. Filmmaker Kevin Everson and City Cyclery lead a bike tour of locations featured in Everson’s new made-in-Windsor film, *It Seems to Hang On.* Mobile Frames resident filmmaker Fern Silva also joined the tour.
July 9th, 3pm, at City Cyclery, located 553 Lincoln Rd. The tour ended at the Capitol Theatre, 121 University Ave. W., at Media City Film Festival’s 20th anniversary Opening Party.
Originally form Mansfield, Ohio, Kevin Everson studied at the University of Akron and at Ohio University. He has made more than seventy short films and five long form films. He is the recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and an American Academy Rome Prize. He lives in Charlottesville, Virginia where he is a Professor at the University of Virginia.
